Samsung Union Calls for Easing Restrictions on AI Tools like ChatGPT
Recently, the Super-enterprise Union of Samsung Group sent a formal letter urging Samsung Electronics to lift existing restrictions on the internal use of generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT. The union represents workers from five Samsung subsidiaries, and they delivered the letter to Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Business Support Group Head Jeong Hyun-ho on October 17. It is understood that Samsung Electronics had previously restricted the use of these AI tools due to security concerns.
